Keep Your Eyes on the Prize

Lately I have been blogging about challenges, but it will make it so much easier to follow through on these challenges, if we keep out eyes on the prize of getting to see our King, Lord, and Savior Jesus. There are so many hindrances in this world to try and stop us from following Christ, but if we truly believe nothing can truly stop us!

Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.
1 Cor. 9:24-25

That verse itself is a challenge. Notice that it says RUN. On Earth we aren't here just to sit around, just like at the Olympics the athlete's aren't there just to sit around. We are here on Earth to run, not just to sit around and wait for Christ's returning. So as encouragement, keep your eyes on the prize.
