Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. --1 Timothy 4:12

Get up, Work Hard, and Enjoy the Ride

A lot of 'Christians' think that just asking Christ into their heart is enough to get to heaven. I know our faith is not based on works, but I also know that if you think you can just sit back relax and enjoy the ride of life, then I don't think you will be spending an eternity with Christ. In fact actually following Christ's laws and doing what he has asked us to in His Word will make your life more enjoyable. We aren't on Earth just to wait to go to heaven. There are people that are going to Hell, and we are just going to sit back and feel sorry for them!

We are called to Change the world, but sadly Christians, (at least the ones here in America) have not done much. It would actually be the American government, Muslims, Mormons, etc. that are changing the world. As far as I know they were not called to change the world, but we are and we aren't doing anything. Please as your brother in Christ I beg to be Salt and Light to the wretched world.

  1. Hey - you are right - some could be doing more, but remember that some people are doing a LOT for Christ. Focusing on living for HIM is what we need to be about, you are correct. Remember our God is a gracious God who extends his love and forgiveness to all who believe in Jesus. What a great God we serve! I love you!

  2. I understand your statement and for the most part you are right. However, I have sound reason to believe God's Chosen are in a stage of getting our souls and minds right with God, for if we contest with the devil and demons without the full army of God we are sure to lose our battles. We must be sure to clothe ourselves with the Holy Spirit completely and whole-heartedly before we step out and do ANY WORKS. I agree that we Christ followers ought to be spreading the Gospel more to give sinners a second chance, but we must be prepared to face the spiritual battle that comes with testifying the GOODNESS of the Lord. God is gradually waking the nation up for the inevitable war that is to happen sooner than we would all like to think or believe. Amen.
